FLOOR PAN RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

3/16 x 3/8 solid rivets with a 7/16" wide truss head. 10 rivets per set.

FRAME AND BODY CHANNEL RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

1/4 x 3/8 round head solid rivet used on frame. Ten rivets per set to secure the body cross channels to the sub rail. Install HOT.

SUB RAIL EXTENSION RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

Rivets sub rail extensions to firewall and sub rail. Set includes eighteen 3/16 x 1/4 truss rivets.

FRONT CROSS MEMBER RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

Fourteen 1/4 x 5/8 round head rivets. Flat head counter sunk rivets are not included as it is much easier to install the round head rivet from the bottom up. Place a bucking bar on the round head to back it up. Then heat the rivet shank red hot and flatten the rivet onto the frame rail. It is very hard to peen the counter sunk rivet inside the frame. See rivet installation in the book “How to Restore Your Model A”, Vol. 4, part # (# 37680). Install HOT.

RUNNING BOARD BRACKET RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

Ten 5/16 x 5/8 round head solid rivets and two 5/16 x 3/4 rivets. Install HOT.

REAR CROSS MEMBER RIVETS

For Year(s): 28-31

25 1/4" X 3/4" round head rivets. Install HOT.

3/16" RIVET TOOL

For Year(s): 3/16

Rounds end of rivet to secure it to the frame. Air Hammer Tool; hardened with .401 shank. Used for 3/16” rivet.

1/4" RIVET TOOL

For Year(s): 1/4

Rounds end of rivet to secure it to the frame. Air Hammer Tool; hardened with .401 shank. Used for 1/4” rivet.

5/16" RIVET TOOL

For Year(s): 5/16

Rounds end of rivet to secure it to the frame. Air Hammer Tool; hardened with .401 shank. Used for 5/16” rivet.

WAFFLE TOOL

For Year(s): 28-31

For setting body rivets, makes an # pattern. Install rivet cold. This tool is used with an air hammer, and has a .401 shank.
