10' COWL WELTING

Black vinyl 1/8" thin bead that fits between the gas tank and cowl section. Should be painted bottom body color. 10 feet long.

GAS TANK SEALER QUART

For Year(s): 28-31

Take gas tank to a radiator shop and have it cleaned. Pour in sealer and roll the tank over many, many times for the sealer to coat the tank. Drain out extra sealer. This is the alcohol resistant type by the 'Bill Hirsh" company. Repeat again the next day for a second coat.

GAS TANK ETCHING

For Year(s): 28-31

This is an excellent prep for your gas tank before you seal it with gas tank sealer (#12810). This etching will remove a light build up of rust from inside your tank. Once it dries is leaves a gray phosphate coating which will allow the sealer to adhere better.

1 pint is good for about a 30 gallon tank.

28 - 29 GAS TANK TO FIREWALL BOLTS

For Year(s): 28-29

Paint lower body color. 1928-29 sets includes eight original 3/8" tall headed 1/4-20 x 5/8 bolts, lock washers and original 3/16" thick, 1/2" wide square nuts. Order two sets for Fordor and Cabriolet cars.

30 - 31GAS TANK TO FIREWALL BOLTS

For Year(s): 30-31

Paint lower body color. 1930-31 sets includes ten 12/24 x 19/32 pan head screws and internal lock washers

28 - 29 GAS TANK TO BELT RAIL BOLTS

For Year(s): 28-29

Bolts that secure the back edge of the tank to the Dash rail support. 1928-29 used eight 1/4-20 x 1/2 bolts, lock washers and hex nuts.

EARLY 30 GAS TANK TO BELT BOLTS

For Year(s): Early 30

Bolts that secure the back edge of the tank to the Dash rail support. Early 1930 cars used Twelve 1/4-20 x 3/4 bolts, lock washers & nuts.

MID 30 GAS TANK TO BELT RAIL BOLTS

For Year(s): Mid 30

Bolts that secure the back edge of the tank to the Dash rail support. Mid 1930, this was changed to 5/16-24 x 25/32 bolts, lock washers and nuts.

LATE 30 - 31 GAS TANK TO BELT RAIL BOLTS

For Year(s): L30-31

Bolts that secure the back edge of the tank to the Dash rail support. Late 1930 to end of production the same 5/16-24 x 25/32 bolt was used but the nuts were placed inside a cage. Set includes bolts and L/W’s but no cage nuts.

28 - 29 GAS TANK ANTI-SQUEAK WELT

For Year(s): 28-29

A thin 1/16" woven treated fabric. This strip is laid on the front edge of the tank at the firewall and on top of belt rail framing just below windshield for gas tank to set on. Also additional welt for the sides of tank to cowl panel.
