This modification to your car allows you to bypass the starter button on the floor and use a chrome plated rod that runs up the steering column to start your car. A simple pull on the rod will activate your starter. This is a great addition for when you are starting the car on a hill. You can still use the original starter button on the floor if you choose to do so. May not work correctly if your car is equipt with Float-A-motor Mounts. .
