Three wires, 1 for the ignition and 2 for the ammeter correct color coded. Red wire from ignition switch to driver side (-) of coil until Nov. '29 then changed to passenger side (+) of coil. Attach yellow wire to ammeter discharge post, the yellow/black wire and dash lamp wire to the charge post of the ammeter. This is an extra heavy 12 gauge wire as original.
